Webshop.ie are looking to recruit the following

C/PHP Developer
We are currently looking for an experienced software developer to join our expanding development team.

The candidate should have at least two year�s experience developing applications in C, with another 2 in PHP.

The candidate should be a very energetic, team player. They should know how to produce very good documentation and appreciate its value but most importantly of all, they should love to code.

The candidate should feel comfortable getting to grips with large systems quickly and have strong analytical skills. They should also be capable of taking responsibility and ownership of tasks and developing sites/components to tight deadlines and to high quality.

This role will initially revolve around C development and maintenance of a core application, in one of our business units. You will be a key member of a team who support of this application. You will also be involved in more main stream PHP development. This aspect of the role will grow substantially over time. A broad range of technical skills are desirable (but not essential) to complement the full range of technologies which we have implemented. Ideally these would include Java and/or Perl coupled with a substantial appreciation for OOAD.

The ideal candidate will also have experience working and developing on Linux/UNIX environments.
